The Logo
We knew we wanted a logo that captured the serendipity of our journey and evoked the elegance of the wine, but the image eluded us. We went through dozens of iterations, and when we finally saw it, we knew we had the perfect logo for Perchance: a Monarch butterfly alighting on a clover, its wings becoming the lucky fourth leaf. It perfectly captures the moment in time when luck met opportunity, and offered us a portal into this fascinating new world.
The Monarch Butterfly
The Monarch butterfly, indigenous to North and South America, is best known for its beautiful and distinctive orange, black, and white coloring. A symbol of metamorphosis, positive change, and renewal, we see the Monarch as a perfect representation of the new life we were able to take on as vintners of Perchance Estates.
The Four-Leaf Clover
Believed by the Celtic druids to ward off bad luck, the four-leaf clover has long been viewed by many societies as an auspicious omen, representing power, good fortune, prosperity, and peace. A one-in-10,000 occurrence in nature, we see the four-leaf clover as a symbol of the rare fortune that led us to this incredible opportunity.
